Jugend hackt remote: digital gardening Aug. 28th – 30th, 2020

Do you like to improve the world with code? Are you already a bit into coding or did you even realize your own project? Do you like talking in English? Then you are right with us!

We‘d like to connect you with other young people from Austria, Germany, Hungary and the Netherlands. We offer you to develop your own projects with the support of great mentors during a weekend, to meet exciting people online and to learn new things.

This year‘s motto is „digital gardening“. That can be everything that‘s necessary for creating a better world, a clean planet or new ways of living together in ways of fair coexistence.

No matter whether you want to realize an app, a visualization or a coding project: you decide on the idea and implementation! Your group project will be part of the exhibition at the Ars Electronica Festival 2020 and will be presented to the festival audience in a public presentation.

We have space for 20 participants and are particularly happy to receive registrations from people who have not yet been visible enough in technology, such as girls, young people with disabilities, with refugee experiences or migration backgrounds.

„Jugend hackt remote: digital gardening“ is a cooperation between Ars Electronica, C3, MB21, ArtechLAB and Jugend hackt Austria.
